What is the Constricta Multi Pot Grip? |
| The Constricta Multi Pot Grip is an adjustable PVC glue and primer caddy designed to securely hold common PVC cement and primer tins while you work. It helps trade pros work faster, safer, and with fewer spills. |
What tin sizes does it fit? |
| Constricta fits most common tin sizes within an approximate 80mm to 115mm diameter range, including 1 pint to 1 quart (500ml to 1 litre) tins. |
Will it fit my preferred brand of solvents? |
| Yes. Constricta fits most major PVC glue and primer brands as long as the tins fall within the size range above. |
Will glue or primer damage it? |
| No. The Constricta is made from chemical resistant, glass filled nylon. If glue gets on it, let it dry, then peel it off. |
Will glue and primer melt it? |
| No. PVC glue and primer will not melt or damage the caddy. If you spill glue on it, let it dry and peel it off. |
Why is the open design a feature? |
| The open design helps keep safety labels visible and easy to read. On many job sites, covering solvent labels can create compliance issues, and in an emergency responders need to identify the substance quickly. |
Does it actually hang on ladders? |
| Yes. The hook handle is designed for quick hang points on site, including ladders. It works best on ladders with a top tool platform that has slots. |
Does it hang on framing, screws, and bolts too? |
| Yes. The hook handle works on common hang points like framing, battens, rebar, tool belts, van storage, and many ladders. The fastening channel on the handle lets you slide it over screws and bolts. If there is nothing nearby, you can drive a temporary screw into your work area and hang it from that. |
What trades use it? |
| Plumbers, irrigation installers, HVAC technicians, electricians, pool plumbers, pool builders, landscapers, and anyone working with PVC glue and primer. |
How does it make work faster? |
| Constricta keeps glue and primer stable, secure, and within reach. That means less time setting up, chasing tins, cleaning spills, or climbing up and down for solvents. The stable base also helps stop rocking and tipping when set down. |
How does it improve safety? |
| It helps reduce spills and the chance of tins being knocked over or falling, and it keeps labels visible. Always follow jobsite and chemical safety requirements. |
Does it have any design recognition? |
| Yes. The Constricta is a Good Design Award winning design with registered design protection. |
Is it 3D printed? |
| No. It is injection molded in the USA from glass filled nylon and water treated after molding to improve strength and flexibility. |
