What is the Constricta Multi Pot Grip?
The Constricta Multi Pot Grip is an adjustable caddy that holds your PVC cement and primer tins securely while you work, so you spend less time chasing tins and cleaning up spills.
How many tins does it hold?
Two. It holds one glue tin and one primer tin at the same time, so both stay within reach while you work.
What tin sizes does it fit?
Constricta fits most common tins within an approximate 80mm to 115mm diameter range, including 500ml to 1 litre tins. Each of the two holders takes a tin up to a full litre.
Will it fit my preferred brand of solvents?
Yes. Constricta fits most major PVC glue and primer brands, as long as the tins fall within the size range above.
Will glue or primer damage or melt it?
No. The Constricta is made from chemical resistant, glass filled nylon, so PVC glue and primer will not melt or damage it. If you get glue on it, let it dry and peel it off.
Why is the open design a feature?
The open design keeps your safety labels visible and easy to read. On many job sites, covering solvent labels can create compliance issues, and in an emergency responders need to identify the substance fast.
Does it actually hang on ladders?
Yes. The hook handle is built for quick hang points on site, including ladders, and works best on ladders with a top tool platform that has slots. Make sure the hook is fully seated before you let go.
Does it hang on framing, screws and bolts too?
Yes. The hook handle works on common hang points like framing, battens, reo, tool belts, and van storage. The fastening channel on the handle slides straight over screws and bolts, and if there is nothing nearby, you can drive a temporary screw into your work area and hang it from that.
Does it hold a tape measure?
Yes. You can clip a tape measure onto the back of the Constricta to keep it close while you work.
What trades use it?
Plumbers, irrigation installers, HVAC technicians, electricians, pool plumbers, pool builders, landscapers, and anyone working with PVC glue and primer.
How does it make work faster?
It keeps glue and primer stable, secure and within reach, so you waste less time setting up, chasing tins, cleaning spills, or climbing up and down for solvents. The wide base also helps stop rocking and tipping when you set it down.
How does it improve safety?
It helps cut spills and stops tins being knocked over or falling, and it keeps your labels visible. Always follow your jobsite and chemical safety requirements.
Where is the Constricta made?
The Constricta was designed on the tools in Australia. It is injection moulded from glass filled nylon.
Is it 3D printed?
No. It is injection moulded, not printed, and water treated after moulding to improve its strength and flexibility.
Is the Constricta patented?
Yes. It holds a US design patent and registered design rights, with a further patent pending, and it is a Good Design Award winner.
